Evaluation of the Master of Science in Epidemiology (Clinical Epidemiology) Curriculum

Objectives. To evaluate the relevance, usefulness, applicability, responsiveness, acceptability, efficiency, overall impact and sustainability of Master Science in Epidemiology-Clinical Epidemiology (MSE-CE) curriculum.
 Methods. The context, input, process product evaluation (CIPP) design was used. Of 106 alumni students, 100 were contacted 80 participated a survey. Key informant interviews, directobservation focus group discussions with faculty members, present past administrators, selected review data done. results analyzed usingdescriptive statistics content analysis.
 Results. Context revealed that MSE-CE responded to need train physicians use research evidence clinical decision-making. Despite some reservations among other UP colleges, program pushed through due support from local international sponsors. Alumni students appreciated effectiveness their teachers complementing instructional resources. range work by its graduates, networks established, expansion Department ClinicalEpidemiology (DCE, department offering program) prove is sustainable post-graduate program.
